Our Story

At Soch Et Latte, we believe that the best conversations begin with a cup of coffee — and sometimes, they lead to something bigger.

Our journey started not in a boardroom or a business school, but in two corners of the world — Pune and the United States — connected by passion and purpose. Tanmay Gupta, an Android developer from India, and Jyoti Kakde, an iOS developer based in the US, met while freelancing on Upwork. What began as a work collaboration soon evolved into a deeper conversation — about dreams, about building something meaningful, and most importantly, about connection.

We both knew how hard it is to find people who truly align with your values, your ideas, and your hustle — especially when you’re dreaming of starting something new. The world is full of potential partners, co-founders, mentors, collaborators… but there’s no café for that. So, we built one.

Thus was born Soch Et Latte — a space carved out for thinkers, builders, dreamers, and doers.

Why “Soch Et Latte”?

“Soch” means thought in Hindi.

“Latte” — well, that’s self-explanatory ☕.

Together, it’s a philosophy: thoughts and coffee, served together.

An iOS developer based in the US, Jyoti blends her love for tech, design, and human connection into every corner of Soch Et Latte. Her calm vision and creative heart help shape the café as a space where ideas feel at home.

Tanmay Gupta

An Android developer turned café dreamer, Tanmay brings Soch Et Latte to life with his passion for people, storytelling, and soulful spaces. He’s the mind behind the vibe — curating moments where coffee meets connection.
